Welcome back to school. I am so excited to get back to school and see my students in class every day! I will be teaching 5th – 8th grades social studies and also 5th and 6th grade science. It looks to be a fun, yet busy year! This will be my 7th year here at St. Pats. Teaching here at St. Pats has fulfilled a lifelong dream of mine. Not very many people can say that they love their job, look forward to each new day, and work in a supportive, friendly close knit group of teachers and administration. I have the opportunity to teach and enjoy the students every day, plus a little added bonus by having the opportunity to see and spend time with four of my grandchildren at school. My husband Bob and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary this past July. We have four children (Drew & Tausha Wilson, Jessica Fritsch, Ryan & Austin Martin, and Sarah Fritsch. We also have 12 grandchildren. (Asher, Abel, Annabelle, Aiden, Aaron, and Adley Wilson, Peri Joy, Charli Mae, and Letti Belle Martin, MaKenna, Parker, and Hanna Heron) I enjoy fishing, camping, golfing, gardening, any outdoor activities, and watching my grandkids participate in summer activities and sports and just spending time with them.
I have lived in McCook my entire life and graduated from McCook Senior High. I attended two years at Midland Lutheran College and then I received my Bachelors of Science Elementary Education degree from the University of Phoenix. I completed my Master’s degree in Special Education (Mild to Moderate) with a Coaching Endorsement from the University of Nebraska Kearney. I have an open door policy and look forward to meeting and working with each one of you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have a question or concern about your student. I am sure that by working together as a team we will have a rewarding and successful year. Remember, “To teach is to touch a life forever!”
