For anyone who doesn’t know me, I pioneered from Ohio to McCook with my husband, Fritz. West of McCook on a small acreage nestled between the prairie hills and the Republican River, our homestead has been a great blessing for us and our eight adventurous children. Forrest, our eldest, lives in North Platte, is employed by John Deere, and has two children, Hans and Anne. Father Carson is an assistant pastor at St. Mary’s in David City. As a member of a uniformed police division, Wyatt lives in Washington, D. C. In Ohio, James is building his own electrical, AC, heating, and plumbing business and is the Plumber Pro at Lowes. John Paul lives near McCook and is employed at FVC. Mary is a missionary at the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation in North Dakota. Joseph graduated this year and is currently employed by a local farmer. Our youngest, Adam, will be a junior in high school this year. Our house has become spacious, yet too quiet. When together, we are a hungry, noisy, fun-loving, and adventurous clan. We enjoy camping, hunting, farming, evening swims, gardening, hiking, and exploring God's great world.
