Mrs. Lori Hilker
I hope you and your families had a blessed and happy summer during which you created wonderful memories. You have grown so much!
My husband Kent and I had a good summer. We got to spend time with our kids and grandchildren, got to see lots of extended family, and finally went to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. I also took a photography class at MCC and have been trying to learn to speak a little bit of Spanish. We definitely kept busy!
Here are a few things I’d like to share with you. My husband Kent and I are long-time members of McCook and St. Patrick parish. We enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and working on houses. I received my teaching degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1999 and my Master’s Degree in 2010. Mr. Hilker has worked at the Parker plant for 42 years.
We have two married daughters (Amanda Dame and Keri Galarneau) and one son (Shane). Their families all live in McCook and we are grateful for that because it means we get to see them and our eight grandchildren often. ♥
Are you looking forward to the new school year? It will be a great one; it’s hard to believe it is my 12th year as the Music Teacher at St. Pat’s. Let’s work and pray together to grow in knowledge, grace, and the love of God!!
